My name is Harley Thomas and I have been teaching since 2023. I taught at Cherokee County at Gaylesville and Cedar Bluff School teaching Elementary and General music. I also taught Computer Science and Career Prep at Corner Middle School in Jefferson County. I am originally from Jefferson County in Warrior, AL. I graduated high school at Corner High School in 2018, I then went to Wallace State Community College in Hanceville, Al and I then graduated from Jacksonville State University in the spring of 2023. I marched in the Marching Southerners for two years, jazz band for three years, and concert band and concert civic chorale choir for two years. I have taken lessons in piano, saxophone, and voice at Jacksonville State University. My main instrument is Saxophone, but I do have multiple different instruments including Trumpet, Trombone, Saxophone, Flute, and Clarinet. I do enjoy taking hikes, relaxing and watching TV, and spending time with family. I am excited to get to work with the bands at both Eclectic Middle School and Elmore County High School and I look forward to a great school year.
