I was born and raised in Troy, AL where I graduated from Pike Liberal Arts School. I spent my first year out of high school at Wallace Community College in Dothan on a Basketball scholarship. In 1998, Huntingdon College started a Women's Basketball team and I transferred there to finish my Bachelor's of Science degree in Exercise Science. I spent 3 years teaching and coaching at Hooper Academy where I earned my physical education certification. In 2005, I began my journey at Eclectic Middle School and couldn't be happier. I finished my Masters in Exercise Science from AUM in 2008. In addition to teaching physical education and serve as the Athletic Director for EMS.
